一、板块介绍

模块呈现了Story time中出现的一般过去时陈述句,并归纳了be动词和规则动词的过去式。

二、教学目标

能够熟练掌握be动词和规则动词的过去式

够熟练运用be动词及规则动词的过去式

、教学过程

Step 1: Warm-up/Lead-in

朗读句子,识别动词过去式

教师要求学生朗读句子,圈出动词的过去式。教师要提醒学生注意表示一般过去 时态的时间状语long long agoone day

Step 2: Presentation & Practice

  1. 教师要求学生给出句子中动词过去式的原形。教师可利用多媒体操作此活动使 学生更直观地理解动词过去式转换过程。

  2. 接龙编创故事

    Long long ago, there was a frog. It lived by a house. There was a girl in the house. She liked the frog very much. She often played with it. One day, the frog helped the girl. The girl was very happy and kissed the frog. Then there was a young man in front of the girl. He was tall and handsome. The frog turned into a prince!

    设计练习,操练动词过去式

  3. 教师可以设计练习,要求学生用动词的过去式补全句子,以检测他们对规则动词 be动词过去式的掌握情况。如:

    1Long long ago, there__________. At that time, (is) a tiger in the forest.

    2Look at this picture. I________ (am) two years old then. I_______ (am) fat. My eyes ________ (are) big and my nose________ (is) small.

    I_______ (like) eating sweets.

    3Last weekend, Su Hai and Su Yang________ (visit) their grandparents.

    They_________ (play) with their cat. They_______ (are) happy.

    4The policeman ________ (shout), “Please be quiet!”

    5Bobby _________ (look) out of the window and________ (laugh), “Ha! Ha!

    Sam is cool!”

    Step 3: Consolidation

    1. 小组活动,造句比赛

    教师将学过的规则动词的过去式卡片帖在黑板上,然后把学生分成若干小组,要求他们用刚刚复习过的动词过去式。造句最多的小组获胜。教师要提醒学生正确使用be动词规则动词的过去式。如:

    Gl: Long long ago, there was a girl ….

    G2: The boy was sad….

    G3: They looked very happy ….

    2. 小组活动

    教师可排学生完成学生用书P14 Checkout time中的Read and write,以检测学生对be动词和规则动词过去式的理解和运用。

    S1: There are some books on the table.

    S2: There are some toy cars under the table.
